Greenbank Animal Hospital – 3160 Greenbank Road
Greenbank Animal Hospital has been caring for Barrhaven’s pets—and their families—since 1977. With compassion, expertise, and a deep love for animals, their team has supported countless households through every stage of their pets’ lives. Their commitment to high-quality care and their genuine connection with families have made them an integral part of our community.
Greenbank Animal hospital is a small animal practice that has proudly served Barrhaven since 1977. As a non-consolidated, independent clinic, they are committed to maintaining a personal connection with their clients and providing exceptional veterinary care tailored to each pet’s unique needs.
Since 1977, they have grown from a one-veterinarian operation into a dedicated team of nine doctors and approximately 50 support staff, operating across two thriving locations Greenbank Animal Hospital and their sister clinic in Manotick.
Greenbank Animal Hospital was established in 1977 by Dr. Lee James, who purchased a unique property that served as a family home and veterinary practice. As demand grew, the building underwent several renovations to expand exam rooms, incorporate modern equipment, and better serve their patients. Today, the facility is fully dedicated to small animal health care, offering comprehensive services in a warm and welcoming environment. Over decades, several veterinarians have joined the practice as owning partners. The current ownership team – Dr. Jackie Sinclair, Dr. Miki Shibata, Dr. Paige Willis, and Dr. Lucie Vander Byl – remain deeply committed to preserving the clinic’s roots as an independently operated clinic and supporting the local veterinary community.
