Today we are mixing things up and you are in for a real treat! Take out isn’t just about dinner and Tutti Frutti Barrhaven is pulling out all the stops so that you can experience their amazing breakfast at home! From traditional breakfasts to sweet treats – their menu is packed with delicious options and they are open until 3pm so you don’t need to be an early bird to take advantage!
We were treated to a traditional eggs breakfast and pancake meal, and the most indulgent french toast based breakfast I have ever had! The meals were hot and fresh and came with an abundance of fruit (what Tutti Frutti is known for!) By setting the table and plating it properly to bring it all together, we enjoyed an amazing meal as a family to start our day! As a family of 3, we actually split the two meals into 3 and everyone enjoyed a great meal.
Our first meal was the Celine Special! This meal comes with all your breakfast favourites including 2 eggs, homestyle potatoes, sausage, ham, bacon, 1 pancaked, toast, and lots of fruit! The eggs were a perfect over-easy with runny yolks waiting for toast to be dipped into them! Everything was cooked to perfection and this meal is a great option if you just can’t decide what you feel like because it has a little bit of everything!
The second meal was a Tutti Frutti specialty. I had honestly been eyeing this on the menu every time I have been there so I could not have been more excited when I saw that it was included in our order. The Crispy Strawberry Sandwich features strawberries and country-style cream served between two crispy slices of french toast! Add in the maple-syrup poured over top and you will be licking your plate. The cream, strawberries, and crispy french toast were the perfect combo!
