Basic First Aid Workshop

Have you wanted to take a First Aid course and not gotten around to it? If you are looking for some basic First Aid skills, this workshop is for you. We will informally go over everything you need to know to treat everyday bumps and bruises, and more specialized things like using a tourniquet.

Participants will learn:

How to use an Epi-Pen
How to apply a tourniquet
Basic splinting and applying a sling
Information on basic wounds, head and spine injuries
When to call 9-1-1.

Each participant will receive a keychain with a pocket First Aid Kit.

Angela has taught Red Cross First Aid for the past 6 years. She loves teaching, loves First Aid, and loves sharing her knowledge. Angela’s classes are extremely interactive, information and fun, where she likes to keep things simple so the skills are easy to retrieve if ever you need to use them in an emergency.
