Upcoming Workshops and Events at Mountaingoat Yoga
The OMBuds are excited and grateful to be coming back to Mountaingoat Yoga to raise high vibes and spread love, light and healing with the community!
Kirtan is a Bhakti Yoga practice that involves chanting powerful mantras and bhajans (spiritual songs), usually in a communal setting.
Through the vibrations produced and the emotions evoked, the mind becomes calm and the heart becomes pure. One may experience profound healing effects and a deeper sense of connection with the Divine. It is a practice that paves a direct path to the heart. Song books will be provided. As we are approaching the holiday period, we may throw in the occasional Christmas carol as well!
All are welcome, and no yoga experience is needed, so please bring your families and friends!
Cost is by voluntary donation (suggested amount $20 or items for our Gratitude Drive).
All proceeds will be directed to The Mission, Shepherds of Good Hope, and Nelson House.
Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time. Yin postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body such as the tendons, fascia and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
This specialty class will help you relax and unwind through soft yin poses done in a warm room.
