Nepean Ringette Tournament Nov 16-19

The Nepean Ringette Association is hosting its annual invitational tournament from November 16-19, 2023 and we need your help. This year, the association will welcome more than 1,400 players, coaching staff, and family and friends from across Ontario and Quebec.

In order to stage a successful tournament, we are asking for support from our community partners. We are looking for donations of goods and services such as skate sharpening, gift cards, sports apparel discounts, and restaurant group discounts to name a few.

We also have several cash sponsorship opportunities available to support as the event experience for each participant. Some initiatives we are trying to suggest below:

  • Player of the game awards
  • Championship banners
  • Participant welcome packages

If you’re interested in supporting this year’s tournament, we would be happy to discuss further.

In exchange for your support, your contribution will be recognized on the Nepean Ravens Website, in the tournament information package, and through signage at tournament arenas.

Thank you for your consideration in providing support of our tournament and keeping our athletes safe and in sport.

For more information, please email thuras@rogers.com.

Community Tree Planting Event

GentleWays for OurPlanet is holding its 2nd annual community tree planting event on October 14 at Mowat Farm Park.  Our first, last year, was a huge success where we planted 125 trees at Neil Nesbitt Park. The event was attended by fifty volunteers, the mayor and other local politicians. It was also covered by social and local media such as the Barrhaven Independent.  This year, in partnership with the City of Ottawa we will be planting between 250 and 300 trees with youth volunteers from the Lebanese-Canadian community and other cultural groups.
