Barrhaven Tennis Club – Early Bird Pricing Ends April 30th

Just a friendly reminder, our early bird registration is open until April 30 2024. If you haven’t registered already, this is your chance to take advantage of our special rates. For instructions on how to register, check out https://www.barrhaventennisclub.com/btc/
Our nets went up Sunday April 21st, and starting May 1st the clubhouse will open. Hope to see you out there!

23rd Nepean Beaver Colony and Scout Troop – Used Book Sale & Maple Syrup Sale

 

Saturday, May 4th – 9am to 1pm at Larkin House (76 Larkin Drive)

The 23rd Nepean Beaver Colony and Scout Troop have decided to host a joint fundraiser on this day. The Beavers are raising funds for the colony to partake in more adventures, while the Scouts are raising money for an upcoming trip out west for the Pacific Jamboree in Sooke, BC this summer (more info on their website here).

Annual Barrhaven Community Wide Garage Sale

Saturday, May 11th – 8am to 2pm

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the annual Barrhaven Garage Sale event on May 11th, 2024 (Saturday) 8AM-2PM.
If you’re keen on participating in this year’s Garage Sale in the Barrhaven area, please register using the link below instead of sending direct messages for me to add your house to the list. This link will enable all houses to be added to an interactive map, making it easier for everyone to find participating houses.
Last year’s event was a massive success, and this year, we’re looking to have an even greater number of households involved. Let’s work together for a fantastic turnout!
Start preparing all your items, both old and new, for the garage sale so everyone can uncover some hidden gems. Feel free to contact me for any suggestions or to add your address to the main list. Ideally, send me an instant message through Facebook Messenger to have your house added to the list.

About Us:
Ottawa Islamic Soccer League (OISL), the first of its kind in the Ottawa region is proud to commence its first season in 2024. OISL was founded with a vision to unite, gather, and strengthen the Barrhaven community through love for sports. Our aim is to teach and encourage skills of soccer supported by an environment of mentorship through fellow players, coaches, referees, and managers at all levels of play. We aim to provide an active, healthy outlet for children and youth to promote social development and personal growth. OISL is a platform for boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their potential, identify their strengths, and compete for excellence while having fun.
