Are you looking for casual yet delicious comfort food? Look no further than Meltwich Barrhaven! Located at 129 Riocan Avenue in Chapman Mills Marketplace, Meltwich has something on the menu for everyone! From gooey grilled cheese to plant-based options, you can’t go wrong!
Meltwich is known for their decadent gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and hand-cut fries but we also can’t say enough about the rest of the menu! This is a great place for families (what child doesn’t love grilled cheese?) or even for a date night (they are fully licenses with some great beer and drink options!) Include them in your dinner and a movie plans (they are right next to the cinema) or even get your order to go for an easy week night meal! The possibilities are endless.
What We Had
We had to go big with the grilled cheese so we went with The Barnyard! This sandwich features grilled chicken, sliced sirloin steak and hicory-smoked bacon with cheddar cheese and tangy BBQ sauce! This grilled cheese is massive and so flavourful! It’ll fill you up and leave you satisfied!
The Spicy Nashville Chicken takes a chicken sandwich up a notch! It features crispy chicken, Spicy Nashville Sauce, Coleslaw, Creamy Buttermilk Dill Sauce, Jalepenos, and Pickles! The flavours make the perfect combination!
The Impossible Burger is a great plant-based option for any vegans or vegetarians! It’s a HUGE burger featuring an massive Impossible patty along with their famous Melt Sauce, Pickles, Lettuce, and Tomato! We added cheddar cheese but Vegan Mozzarella is also available. This is just one of the many plant-based options on their menu (they also do a pretty spectacular plant-based grilled cheese!)
To pair with these great sandwiches, we also added a poutine to share! Delicious cheese curds and gravy on hand-cut fries – you can’t go wrong!
And last, but not least, don’t forget to get a milkshake! You won’t regret it!
