Beat the mid-week blues with a fantastic night out right here in Barrhaven! Browns Socialhouse is the place to be for a night of cocktails and delicious foods! Browns Socialhouse opened in Barrhaven last year and it’s always a great time. While tonight’s meal focused on dinner, Browns also has a great menu of appetizers for sharing – perfect for a girls night out or a casual date night!
The Browns Socialhouse menu has a great mix of flavours with elevated pub classics and a mix of ethnically inspired dishes. It’s always a challenge making a choice as everything on the menu sounds amazing (and I have yet to be disappointed!)
Our first entrée was the #28 Dragon Bowl. This menu item is long standing at Browns Socialhouses across the country and it’s easy to understand why! Tonight we had it with tofu but it can also come with teriyaki chicken. This bowl features rice, wok fired vegetables, red cabbage, crispy yogurt and a spicy yogurt that ties everything in together perfectly. This warm bowl is perfect for a cool fall evening!
Our second entrée was the Hollywood Burger! This burger comes topped with cheddar cheese, special sauce, iceberg lettuce, pickles, and tomato which may sound familiar but this is not a fast-food burger. Perfectly cooked paired with Social Fries, this is taking the classic to a whole new level. This burger can also be made with a plant-based Impossible patty for your vegetarian friends.
Overall, it was a great evening with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Stop by Browns SocialHouse Barrhaven at 1055 Greenbank (Greenbank at Highbury Park) and you won’t be disappointed!
