Cold Friday evenings are great for staying in! After a long week of shovelling snow and getting the kids back to school, it was great to sit down to an amazing family meal from Quiznos Barrhaven! Their toasted sandwiches are fresh and layered with flavour! Stop by and pick up dinner tonight at 1581 Greenbank Road (in the mall with the new Farm Boy!)
Our selection tonight hit everyone’s favourites – chicken, steak, cold cuts, and more! It was a great variety and it was also fun to share sandwich halves to try them all. Pair this meal with a family game night or move night and you are all set!
The Peppercorn Black Angus Steak Sub is a perfect “steak and cheese” and it features melted mozzarella, sauteed onions, and Quiznos’ tangy peppercorn sauce. It’s delicious from start to finish!
The Chicken Carbonara Sub features perfectly grilled chicken, crispy bacon, mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms and parmesan alfredo sauce all toasted into ooey-gooey perfection!
The Classic Italian Sub features stacked pepperoni, salami. smoke capicola, and smoked ham along with mozzarella, black olive, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. A drizzle of zesty red wine vinaigrette brings it all together. The mix of toasted and fresh ingredients in this sandwich bring it all together perfectly!
Not sure you want a big sub or just prefer flatbread sandwiches? The Sammies are a great option. The Cool Ranch Chicken features bacon, cheddar, tomato, lettuce and ranch dressing!
The BBQ Chicken Pizza Flatbread was the perfect shareable! BBQ chicken, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, onions, and BBQ sauce on crispy flat bread provided great flavours!
It’s freezing out and nothing beats a bowl of hot soup on a cold day! The Broccoli and Cheddar Soup is out of this world. It’s thick, creamy, cheesy, and packed with broccoli and carrots. I would highly recommend pairing this with every sandwich!
Finally, it was time for dessert and a chocolate chunk cookie! Finish the meal off right with this sweet treat!
