Today’s take out involved a true family feast! Boston Pizza Barrhaven is going above and beyond while pulling out all the stops to bring their delicious food to your table at home. They have amazing Meal Deals that feature all your favourites from their menu! We were treated to the Pizza, Pasta, and Salad Meal Deal – not only is it a great value but it’s pretty darn delicious too!
Our meal consisted of a a generous and fresh garden salad, a medium Viva Italia pizza, The Hungry Carnivore Pasta, and a Brownie for dessert! The pizza and pasta were selections that were new to us but that we will definitely be getting again! (Reminder: we are letting the restaurants pick what we get for this little adventure!)
The Viva Italia is a pizza masterpiece. It smelled so good in the car that I could not wait to get home. It is also just a beautiful looking pizza when you open the box! Packed with Italian flavours, this pizza features genoa salami, spicy italian sausage, roasted red peppers, goat cheese, some spice from banana peppers and chilli flakes and the most amazing pesto drizzle to bring it all together.
The Hungry Carnivore Pasta lives up to its name and features spicy Italian sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni along with a delicious selection of veggies and penne pasta in their beefy bolognese sauce. The flavours of each meat stand out in this truly hearty meal. It also comes with a bacon-crusted garlic cheese bread because, well, who doesn’t love bacon?
To finish off this already perfect meal, we were treated to a brownie (which comes with both chocolate and caramel sauce for extra indulgence!) Chocolate does make everything better!
