Play On Pediatric Therapy is conveniently located at 10 Green Street right here in Barrhaven. The space is beautiful and bright – the perfect setting to support and empower kids toward their pursuit of healthy movement and optimal function. Play and fun are a big part of the many services they provide and the pediatric focus of the clinic makes it unique to the area.
Play On Pediatric Therapy was founded by Michelle Warren and Julia Reid. Their passion and vision for this business is evident in all the details throughout the space. Michelle is a Pediatric Physiotherapist and Julia an Athletic Therapist – with many years of experience between them, they have come together to bring this clinic to life.
Play On Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary hub for pediatric rehabilitation and their services are extensive. They offer athletic therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, naturopathic medicine, osteopathy, and chiropractic services to treat a number of conditions including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, birth injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Concussion, Constipation, Development Coordination Disorder, Global Development Delay, Gross Motor Delay, Hypotonia, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Muscular Dystrophy, Sports Injuries, Sensory Processing Disorder, and more. They offer comprehensive, individual assessments and create treatment plans catered to each child. Services are available for children from 0-18 and sessions are focused on treatment goals but always include FUN to keep the child motivated and engaged.
Supporting the Heart Institute
Heart Health is important for all ages and Play On Pediatric Therapy was one of the first businesses to jump on board to support the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and our #BarrhavenHasHeart campaign! They are selling paper hearts at the office and also taking it a little further with a fun for the whole family initiative: The Healthy Heart Family Challenge! Take a photo of your family participating in a heart healthy activity and tag them on your post on social media! For each post, they will donate $2 the Heart Institute and you will be entered to win an amazing prize basket full of exercise equipment! For more information, check out the post below!
