Barrhaven Winter Warm Up Tour
Winter is here and if you’re looking for a great and inexpensive excuse to get out of the house, check out some of our amazing Barrhaven cafés and coffee shops. Warm up with an amazing hot drink and treat yourself to something freshly baked. This is a great way to break up those long winter months and something you can do on your own or with friends and family! Over the next couple of months, we will be taking you on a tour of our Barrhaven cafés to hopefully inspire you to explore. Each one is unique and they all offer something special. So put those boots on and head out for the perfect winter warm up in Barrhaven!
Second Cup Barrhaven
Are you looking for a great cup of coffee or a special treat? Look no further than Second Cup Barrhaven! Located at the Barrhaven Town Centre, Second Cup is a great place to meet with friends or sit down to get some work done. The store owner, Dan, is passionate about coffee and more than that, he is the friendly face that gives this place a sense of community!
What to Try?
Second Cup has also launched a unique and exciting winter menu! They now offer a Boba Collection and new Winter Brews (a maple Latté, a beautiful Blue Butterfly Tea Latté, and an Oat milk Maple Flash Cold Brew!) They also offer a variety of plant-based options if that’s your preference!
On top of these new exciting options, their coffee is always on point. Whether your choose a brewed coffee or an espresso based beverage, you won’t be disappointed!
Not into coffee? They also offer a variety of tea lattés, hot chocolates, and smoothies. We didn’t try it this time but the White Hot Chocolate is out of this world!
And don’t forget a treat! With a large selection of baked goods, there’s something for everyone!
And be prepared, with one taste, you’ll be craving a “second cup”.
