It doesn’t need to be Monday to go meatless! Tonight we are having an amazing dinner from Copper Branch! Accessible plant-based food that is sure to please makes for a great meal! Copper Branch is next level (you won’t feel like you’re missing anything!) Conveniently located at 3161 Strandherd Drive, stop in and check out their diverse menu!
As always, we left it up to the restaurant to decide what we would be eating and they put together the most perfect feast! Nachos, the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, an Aztec Power Bowl, a Ghandhi Smoothie, and two desserts (Cheezcake and Brownie), made for an amazing meal! Everything was so flavourful and fresh but also felt indulgent!
The Oven Baked Nachos were a delicious appetizer to our meal (but would make a great meal on their own as well!) The blue corn chips come loaded with jalapeños, bruschetta, olives, black beans, mozzarella-style shreds, guacamole, and vegan sour cream. Every bite was full of flavour on these hot and crispy nachos! Oh and the sour cream and shreds taste just like the real deal!
Up next was the brand new Nashville Chicken Sandwich! This sandwich is huge and features crispy plant-based chicken and a sweet and spicy combination of toppings. Pair it with fries for the perfect meal. This sandwich won’t be available for long, so go out and get it now!
The Aztec Power Bowl is jam packed with amazing fresh veggies and killer flavour from basil olive dressing, mango salsa, guacamole, and vegan sour cream. Our bowl featured the Carrot Keftedes which are so flavourful; I can’t recommend them enough!
The Gandhi Smoothie features spinach, tumeric, pineapple, banana, ginger, lime, and organic orange juice. It’s sweet and satisfying – a perfect contrast to a savoury meal or even as a treat on its own!
Finally came dessert! The Vanilla Bean Cheezcake was creamy and rich and the Chocolate Zucchini Brownie was delicious (does that count as eating your veggies?) A perfect end to a perfect meal!
