Safety Workshops for Nightlife Staff and Managers

The Social Collective is offering free workshop intended for people who work in venues, bars and nightclubs in Ottawa. These training sessions aim to create safer and more responsive nightlife environments by equipping frontline staff with practical tools to prevent and combat harassment and violence, with a particular focus on sexual violence.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

• Bystander intervention
• Harassment and sexual violence prevention
• Involuntary intoxication
• Staff well-being and resilience
• Tips for developing internal practices and policies
• Local resources for support, health and safety.

The workshop is offered in English and French on separate dates. Select the date that corresponds to your preferred language. Please note that registration is required.
