NROCRC Tools for School – Backpack Fundraiser

Imagine the impact of equipping local students with the tools they need to thrive in the classroom! The Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Community Resource Centre (NROCRC) in partnership with the Caring and Sharing Exchange has provided backpacks to local students through the “Tools 4 School” program since 2008 to help local students succeed. We invite you to join us in this important campaign.

NROCRC provides students in grades 10 through 12 with a backpack and a $20 gift card to support their return to school. Many families in our community face significant financial challenges in covering the rising costs of school supplies. This year, we are facing an urgent need to provide 100 backpacks, and with your support we can reach our goal and empower students to focus on their education and reach their full potential. You can support this vital program by:

-Hosting a donation bin at your business to help us collect backpacks. We provide the poster and the bin.

-And/or directly sponsoring the program with a monetary donation so we can purchase backpacks.

Suggested amounts are $250 (5 backpacks), $500 (10 backpacks) or $1,000 (20 backpacks).
