Fall 2019 Overcome Anxiety Clinic
September 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
This four-part clinic offers a natural and holistic approach to overcoming anxiety and managing stress. It is designed for those who suffer from, for example, stress and anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress. Each session includes education about anxiety, an exploration and experience of breath, mindfulness, meditation, mudras, affirmations, gentle yoga practice, guided relaxation and other self-regulation tools and techniques to break the psychological, biochemical and physical cycles of anxiety.
This is what some participants have had to say about previous clinics:
“This has changed my entire perspective on how to handle my anxiety and makes me hopeful that I can manage it better.”
“The clinic was exactly what I hoped for/expected. I knew a lot of the various pieces, but the sessions brought it all together; the education portion helped me connect the dots.”
“This clinic gave us so many tools and insight on anxiety and how to overcome it. It highly surpassed my expectations.”
“I’m really glad I have all these tools. The last few days I’ve been feeling more anxious than usual. Last night after doing a few of my practices, I could feel myself calm down. I love that we have access to all this information.”
“This program has opened my mind to the possibilities to change the way I think and react from now on.”
“I can relate to so much of what you speak about at your sessions. If I had learned these tools years ago, my journey in life would have surely turned out differently.”
