The Digitalization Competence Centre (DCC) is excited to share details about the Ontario Government’s Retail Modernization Project Grant (RMPG), a new initiative designed to help retailers upgrade their operations and enhance customer experience.
The RMPG provides up to $5,000 in non-repayable funding for eligible retailers to invest in digital tools such as hardware and software that increase efficiency and modernize storefront operations.
To qualify, businesses must:
- Operate a physical (non-home-based) storefront in Ontario
- Be in business for at least one year
- Generate a minimum of $100,000 in annual revenue (before taxes)
- Sell goods or services directly to consumers (e.g., bookstore, café, boutique, hair salon)
- Employ 1–50 full-time staff
Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
