As the Executive Director of the Barrhaven Business Improvement Area (BIA), I am dedicated to ensuring the success of the organization through effective leadership and comprehensive management. I am deeply committed to continuous growth as a leader, which is why I place great value on surrounding myself with strong leaders and mentors. There is always more to learn—whether it’s a fresh perspective on a challenge or a new solution from someone who has already navigated similar experiences. This philosophy drives our collaborative approach at the BBIA, and I encourage all of our members to actively engage with the association. The insights, knowledge, and best practices I’ve gained through my role as Chair of the Ottawa Coalition of Business Improvement Areas (OCOBIA) and as a member of the Ontario Business Improvement Areas Association (OBIAA) Advocacy Committee have been invaluable. Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

In my position with the Barrhaven BIA, I am responsible for the social media and marketing initiatives of the BIA as well as mentoring local businesses to ensure that they are optimizing their social media presence. I come from a background of managing social media accounts for small businesses in the Ottawa area and am excited to use this knowledge and experience to help Barrhaven businesses grow. I have lived in Barrhaven my entire life and am passionate about the community. Membership & Events Coordinator

As the Barrhaven BIA’s Membership and Events Coordinator, I am excited to work collaboratively with the 600+ businesses that call Barrhaven home. Through my role, I am often out in the community, connecting with business owners, seeking to understand their needs so that we can tailor BBIA services to ensure Barrhaven businesses have the right tools for success. Through my background in arts administration, I also bring to the role extensive experience planning live events and festivals. I am excited to apply that knowledge to my position with the BBIA, leading dynamic events and other networking opportunities that bring the business community together.
