University of Ottawa Heart Institute Heart Valve Screening Clinic

Minto Recreation Centre is hosting the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for a Heart Valve Screening Clinic on March 20th 2025. This clinic is free and open to anyone who is 65+ who has no history of heart disease or stroke. With this screening, participants receive a mini-heart ultrasound to check their heart valves, and an assessment of cardiovascular risk factors including a poke in the finger to check for cholesterol and diabetes.
